Dear Friend: "For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16,
NKJV).
The first response of love is always to
give, and as Christmas comes this year, let's reflect upon
what God has given by sending His only begotten Son to be
the Savior. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in
the heavenly places in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3, NKJV). Yes,
through Him you have been blessed with every spiritual
blessing, and this is a fait accompli-an accomplished fact!
Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year to you and yours from Bridge-Logos
Publishers. December Releases Bridge-Logos will be releasing three new exciting titles
this month; we hope to have them in our new warehouse before
Christmas:
| 1. The Ultimate Who's Who in the Bible. (Compiled by David
Mandel.) This is a complete makeover of an earlier book, The Compleat Who's Who in the Bible. In this amazing reference
volume you will find biographies, timelines, illustrations,
pronunciations, interesting histories, topical indices, and
other facts related to more than 3,000 Bible characters.
This must-have reference work includes a software CD that can be used for
thorough research. It's a great gift for Bible students, pastors,
Sunday School teachers, and Bible study leaders. 2. A Prophet's Last Words by Pastor Gunnar Milton Johnson.
This is the first title under our imprint Unity Publishers,
the new co-publishing division
of Bridge-Logos. This deeply moving book
shares the spiritual insights of a pastor who wrote down
amazing prophecies prior to his death a few years ago. He
reveals glimpses into the heart of God that will make a
difference in the life of every reader.
3. How to Know God Exists by Ray Comfort. This icomprehensive apologetic by a veteran evangelist shares
biblical truths and spiritual experiences in a most
compelling manner. Yes, it is possible to know that God
exists, and this book will help readers eradicate all doubts
to the contrary. This is an evangelistic tool and a great
book for study by groups and individuals. |
More "Comfortable" Books After the turn of the New Year, Bridge-Logos will release
four new titles by Ray Comfort. The first two were mentioned
in last month's newsletter; they are scratch-and-sniff books
for young children. These four-color picture books (that
have several different scents for children to experience)
are:
|
1. Scratch & Sniff
2. What Your Nose Shows |
Children will find great delight in these books as they
experience the stories through their senses of sight and
smell. (These should be available in January.) Two other titles by Ray Comfort will be released early next
year, as well. These timely and intriguing books are:
1. Evolution: A Fairy Tale for Grownups (We hope to release
this title in conjunction with the 200th anniversary of
Charles Darwin's birth in February 2008.)
2. 101 of the Dumbest Things People Have Done—a humorous
book with an evangelistic appeal. |
Christian readers will love these new books by our
best-selling author Ray Comfort. Update on

Recently Released One recently released
new title is
Seven Steps Out
of the Humpty Dumps, which was written by Susan Sherwood
Parr, who is the founder and president of Life to the World
Ministries, Inc. She is the author of Battlefield Prayers, a
book that has been distributed by CENTCOM, the Pentagon, the
U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marine Corps, and the Coast Guard.
Seven Steps Out of the Humpty Dumps explores avenues of
healing available to the grieving Christian. It combines
experience and sensitivity with biblical insights, providing
the reader with a guide to lead him or her through practical
steps out of sadness and back into abundant living. Sales for this book have been strong, and we know your
customers will greatly benefit from this easy-to-read,
attractive publication. The Ministry of Publishing It is thrilling to
hear how God is using the books
published by Bridge-Logos. We receive letters from readers
throughout the world, sharing
what God is doing in their lives through the various books.
The life-changing stories in those
letters inspire and encourage us, and provide a
great motivation for us to press on in our ministry. Please feel free to contact Bridge-Logos with your
suggestions, prayer requests, and insights. You are a vital
part of this ministry, and we thank you for your faithful
support through the years.
"Tell God all that is in your heart, as one unloads one's
heart to a dear friend. People who have no secrets from each
other never want for subjects of conversation; they do not
weigh their words because there is nothing to be kept back.
Neither do they seek for something to say; they talk out of
the abundance of their hearts, just what they think. Blessed
are they who attain to such familiar, unreserved intercourse
with God" (Fenelon). May the holiday
season and the coming year provide you with many
opportunities to draw nearer to God and enjoy sweet
fellowship with Him. Remember, He loves you with an
everlasting love! Warm Christmas blessings, Lloyd B. Hildebrand
