Dear friend:

Let today be your day!

Our author Brad Henry makes several valid points about revival when he writes, “We need a revival in this country and it doesn’t need to start in a stadium of 100,000 people. It needs to start in you, and then another and then another. Can you make a commitment today to let Jesus do the CPR, instead of someone or something else? If you are thinking that possessions, status, and wealth will give you the jumpstart you need, you are wrong. It is God, and God alone, who can only bring you back to life.

“Let today be the day.

“Find a quiet place and pray for a revival in your heart. One person can encourage many when the Lord is behind it. If the Lord is not behind it, nothing will happen.

“Let the revival in this country start with you. You are not reading this by chance. God has sent this message to you to be a light in a dark world. Take a stand for Jesus, but first of all you need to be revived. Are you ready for a new life? Yes, you are. Get ready because the Lord desires to do a great work in you.”

This passage is from Brad’s exciting new book, Destination—the Winner’s Circle. We were proud to show this book at the ICRS Convention in Orlando last month. It was so good to have Brad there with us. His book is doing very well, and we hope you will order several copies of it. (Destination—the Winner’s Circle by Brad Henry; ISBN: 978-0-88270-529-3; $14.99) A portion of the proceeds from every sale of this book will benefit the Jamie McMurray Foundation for Autism. Visit the author's web site at http://www.heavenfirst.com/.

We believe revival fires are burning around the world, and we’re so thankful that many of our books have helped to and will continue to ignite those fires.

By the way, if you would like to learn more about all God is doing here at Bridge-Logos, please be sure to check my blog, The Publisher’s Corner. I would like to have your responses to the thoughts I’ve posted. To see the blog, go here: www.bridgelogos.info

Our Authors

Through the years I’ve had the privilege of knowing many of our authors. We are grateful for each one of them and the important work they do. We frequently pray for our authors, asking God to anoint their books as we send them forth to locations around the world.

At the ICRS Convention we were happy to renew fellowship with Brad Henry and many of our other authors, including:

  • David Balsiger (author of Miraculous Messages—From Noah’s Flood to the End Times978-088270-467-8, $6.99; Book and Bonus DVD—978-088270-468-5, $19.99). I’ve know David for many years, and it is always good to see him and to hear about his work with Grizzly Adams Productions.
  • Donna Kafer (author of Women of Faith and Women of Courage). Her latest book is Women of Faith (ISBN: 978-0-88270-478-4; $12.99) This very attractive book takes a look at the lives of sixteen women of faith who have played prominent roles in the building of the kingdom of God on Earth. Donna is the Chaplain of the Arizona State Legislature, where she conducts a weekly Bible study. Visit her web site at http://www.donnakafer.org/.
  • John Mason (author of Dare to Be; 978-0-88270-153-0; $11.99). John is a longtime friend of Bridge-Logos, and it was good to see him again. She has written numerous books and articles, and she is currently pursuing her PhD in New Testament studies. Her new book helps women discover their gifts and callings. Visit her web site at http://www.removingtheveil.org/.
  • JoAnna Ward (author of Surviving the Fitness Game; 978-088270-458-6; $14.99). It’s always good to be with JoAnna, who is filled with the joy of the Lord. This book contains JoAnna’s personal story, a 28-day fitness devotional, and a 60-minute exercise CD. Visit the author's book site at http://www.survivingthefitnessgame.com/.

We had hoped that Ray Comfort would be able to join us again this year, but unfortunately illness
prevented him from attending. We’re happy to report that he is feeling better, though. Ray’s most recently published books are:

  • How to Know God Exists (ISBN: 978-088270-432-6; $12.99). In this revealing book Ray applies basic logic to three clear evidences for the existence of God. This compelling apologetic effectively disarms the beliefs of atheists.
  • Evolution—A Fairy Tale for Grownups (ISBN: 978-0-88270-585-9; $11.99). Ray raises 101 questions to shake evolutionists’ blind faith in Darwin’s theories. Well-known evolutionists reveal in their own words the unscientific nature of their beliefs.
  • 101 of the Dumbest Things People Have Done (ISBN: 978-0-88270-555-2; $5.99). This treasure chest of laughter is a very effective evangelistic tool that leads the reader gently to God.

During the autumn season we will be releasing a great new book by Ray. It is entitled Comfort Food, and this dynamic book supplies the believer with liberating insights into God’s ways, truths, and plans based on the Word of God and Ray’s experience as an evangelist. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-528-8; $14.99) Comfort Food has a devotional format; it contains teachings and insights that will help believers fight the good fight of faith with all their hearts. Visit Ray’s web site at http://www.wayofthemaster.com/, which he shares with Kirk Cameron.

Fall Releases

Be on the lookout for these new titles that we will release this fall:

  • Building a House of Prayer by Joshua Young-Gi Hong. Since the great Korean prayer revival of the early 20th century to today’s growing Korean churches, including the 800,000-member Yoido Full Gospel Church and its famous Prayer Mountain, Korean Christians have been known for their deep dedication to prayer and drawing closer to God. In this very helpful book Dr. Joshua Young-Gi Hong provides us with 18 practical prayer models for approaching God’s throne. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-455-5; $13.99) Visit the Yoido Full Gospel Church web site at http://english.fgtv.com/.
  • The God of the Mountain by Penny Cox Caldwell. Numerous films have been produced about the search for and amazing discovery of the real Mount Sinai. Where is it? What evidence is there to help us know its location? These questions are answered in this stirring and fascinating account of the Caldwells, who have been searching for the real Mount Sinai since 1992 and have more “boots on the ground” time in Saudi Arabia than any other explorers. This intriguing book reveals a surprising and miraculous discovery about the mountain where God presented the tablets containing the Ten Commandments. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-605-4; $19.99) Visit her web site at http://splitrockresearch.org/.
  • Comfort Food by Ray Comfort. (Please see description above.)

Receiving God’s Promises

Let me conclude this newsletter by quoting from one of our recently published books, Preparing Yourself for God’s Promises by M. Denise Baccus (ISBN: 978-0-88270-476-0; $12.99): “Similarly, the promises of God are ‘Yea’ and ‘Amen.’ This double affirmation further emphasizes the reliability of God’s promises. Yea indicates that something has been confirmed to be true. Amen literally means, ‘It is so and shall be so.’ Simply put, yea confirms the truth of God’s Word, and amen serves as a witness to its truth. This was ultimately revealed in Jesus Christ (see John 1:1, 14-17), who is the truth (see John 14:6) and ‘the Amen, the faithful and true witness’ (Revelation 3:14). For this reason, whatever you ask of the Father in the name of Jesus will be given to you (see John 14:13-14). Expect it now!” Visit the author’s web site at http://www.mdenisebaccus.com/.

Denise is absolutely right. God’s promises will never fail. May you become a promise-reaper today and always.

Sincerely in Christ,

Lloyd B. Hildebrand
