Bridge-Logos Foundation Newsletter

Dear Friend:

We have arrived at a new month, a new year, and a new decade. Isn’t it amazing how quickly the years pass by? Charles Caleb Colton wrote, “Time is the most undefinable yet paradoxical of things; the past is gone, the future is not come, and the present becomes the past even while we attempt to define it, and, like the flash of lightning, at once exists and expires.” How true his observations about time are.

The past year was very eventful for us, as I’m sure it was for you. Our President and Co-founder, Ms. Catherine (“Kitty”) Morrell, graduated to Glory on August 18. She was a very spiritual, compassionate, and generous person, and we miss her. Kitty had long desired to see Bridge-Logos become a non-profit foundation, and I’m happy to report that we are well on our way to the fulfillment of her desire.

We are now registered in the State of Florida as Bridge-Logos Foundation, Inc. When the IRS approves our non-profit status, it will be our privilege to disseminate Christian literature to more people than ever before, including pastors and missionaries in needy parts of the world and prisoners who long to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please continue to pray for us, that all these goals will be achieved in the very near future.

“We’re Talking Books”

We have  a forty-five minute weekly radio broadcast entitled “We’re Talking Books,” which I usually host. You can listen to it on the Internet at www.blogtalkradio.com/bridgelogos. It airs every Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM, EST.

This past Thursday it was my privilege to interview Dennis R. Petersen, the author of Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation. It was a very informative broadcast. We have the following guests scheduled to appear on upcoming Thursdays:

These are just some of the exciting guests that will be appearing on “We’re Talking Books.”

“Homekeepers” With Arthelene Rippy

It was my privilege to be the guest of Ms. Arthelene Rippy on her television program entitled “Homekeepers” on December 16, 2009. It was a joy to be with her and to be able to let the viewers know about my new book, 2012—Is This the End? “Homekeepers” is a weekly program on the Christian Television Network that airs in Clearwater, Florida.

Kevin Cross on CTN Show

Kevin Cross, author of the Bridge-Logos book, Building Your Financial Fortress in 52 Days, will appear on The Herman & Sharron Show, a CTN show, on January 26, 2010.

Christian Marketplace International—Atlanta, Georgia

Steve Becker, our Executive Vice President in Charge of Sales and Marketing, and I will be attending the Christian Marketplace International show in Atlanta next week. We are looking forward to our experience there because it will enable us to show our new products to buyers from all over the world. New Titles Just Released

  • The Extinction of Evolution by Darek Isaacs. This is a revolutionary book by a young-Earth creationist that is partly a novel and partly a teaching book. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-999-4; Trade paperback; 176 pages; $12.99)

  • The Elijah Legacy by David Davis. The life and legacy of Elijah point to events that are happening in our world today. The rain of revival has begun to fall. Those who receive Elijah’s legacy will be enveloped in the presence of God and will be instrumental in the raising up of the Elisha generation. A deeply spiritual and challenging book. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-920-8; trade paperback; 320 pages; $15.99)

  • Spurgeon on Prayer – a Pure Gold Classic edited by Harold J. Chadwick. Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the Prince of Preachers, had a great deal to say about the power of prayer.
