Dear Friend: Warm
spring greetings to you, and may you have a wonderful
Resurrection Day this coming Sunday. Death has been
swallowed up in victory, because our Lord Jesus Christ rose
from the dead. It’s so wonderful to know that death no
longer has any sting for those of us who know the risen
Lord. (See 1 Corinthians 15:55.) Paul writes, “But thanks
be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye
steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the
Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in
the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:57-58). In light of the
Resurrection of Jesus Christ, therefore, we must press on
with His work, realizing that our labor is never in vain
when it is accomplished in and through the Lord. The work of
Christian publishing is exciting and important, and I thank
God for His faithfulness in guiding Bridge-Logos for nearly
forty-three years! Our Active
Authors and What They Are Doing The following
entries show what our authors are doing these days by way of
media appearances and speaking engagements. Each one is
working hard to promote their books and to proclaim the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it is a great pleasure to work
with them. Trish Porter—Author of

Championship title in Kamloops, Canada. She has also won her

Kevin Cross—Author of Embezzlement and Building
Your Financial Fortress in 52 Days
Kevin
Cross is very busy these days. He was recently involved in a
two-week series at the First Church of the Nazarene in
Sarasota, Florida. He explains, “. . . a radical love
offering—but not the traditional ‘give until it hurts and
then we will unlock the doors.’ No, this one was the passing
of the plates but instead of putting money in, this radical
church asked everyone to take money out!!! “Each person
was given an envelope of cash and asked to do one of two
things. The first, to ask God to move in their hearts to
find someone who had a need and meet that need in the name
of Jesus. The second option is to use the money in an
entrepreneurial way (like making banana bread or crafts or
something to give increase to the Kingdom.) The stories are
beginning to pour in and can be seen on our blog at
www.account417.com”
The
services concluded on March 28 with another giveaway during
which each person received a copy of
Building Your Financial Fortress in 52 Days. This
was done to show how everyone can experience the same
pleasure day in and day out by “doing money” God’s way. As
Kevin says, “Having more margin so that we can have more
meaning!” On April 18 Kevin will be featured on the Coral
Ridge Ministries TV program. Both of his Bridge-Logos books
will be talked about, and they will recount his life story.
Kevin’s two books are:
Embezzlement—A True Crime Story

price: $14.99. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-182-0)

Tsukahira—Author of God’s Tsunami
Peter
Tsukahira was
invited by Dr. David Yonggi Cho to pray for the peace of
Jerusalem in the Seoul, Korea, World Cup Stadium in October.
Approximately 70,000 Korean Christians were there, and a
six-minute video clip of the prayer is available on YouTube.com. (Type in “Peter Tsukahira” or “God’s Tsunami”
to see this clip.) Peter’s outstanding article entitled “Cheap Grace” was
published in the March issue of Charisma magazine. Go to
http://www.charismamag.com (under “Features for March”) to
read this article. Peter is launching a new ministry in
Israel that will focus on building spiritual bridges between
Israel and the growing Christian movement in East Asia
(specifically the Chinese-speaking world). The current name
of this ministry is the Israel-Asia Center (TIAC). In May,
Peter will be conducting a Mount Carmel convocation in
Israel. This will be a four-day conference (May 5-8, 2010)
in the worship center of the church he pastors—Kehilat
HaCarmel (Carmel Assembly). It will be followed by a
five-day optional teaching tour. More information is
available on the congregation’s website:
www.carmel-assembly.org.il
God’s Tsunami is a
fascinating book that shows how God’s tsunami (a mighty wave
of revival) has already swept through Europe and the New
World and is now pouring over Africa, Asia, and the Middle
East. Soon it will cover Israel, as well. Peter explains
that during these crucial times the Church needs to stand
with Israel and the Jewish people. This timely book retails
at $14.99. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-984-0)
Holland Davis—Author of Let It Rise
Holland
Davis led worship and spoke at Calvary Chapel, Perris
Valley in Perris, California, on March 28. He is currently
involved in the planting of a brand-new church in San
Clemente—Worship Life Calvary Chapel—where he serves as
Senior Pastor. More than 200 people attended their opening
service. Holland states that this church is “. . .built on
the foundations of the Word, worship, and witness.” It is a
multi-generational church that has a strong emphasis on the
inductive study of God’s Word and the encouragement of
creative expressions of worship. Holland recently joined
the Editorial Advisory Team for Technologies for Worship
magazine, where he writes a monthly column entitled, “In the
Muse.”
Our best wishes and prayers go out to Holland for
his involvement in all these new opportunities to serve our
Lord.

wonderful worship leader and pastor. It’s actually a
practical manual for worship—a great tool for pastors,
worship leaders, and all worshipers. Written in a unique
visual format, this book provides important insights into
worship that are informative, sometimes humorous, and always
easy to read. This book retails at $13.00. (ISBN:

Cameron—Author of A Full House of Growing Pains
Barbara Cameron is the mother of actor, author, and
evangelist Kirk Cameron. Her delightful book shares the
blessings and challenges of building a strong marriage and
raising Christian kids. She writes, “I am involved in
Skip1.org right now. This is a wonderful organization that
brings clean water and food to children in need. I hope to
go to Haiti in May. Skip1.org is about skipping something—a
latte, a pack of gum, a car wash, anything, and taking the
money you would have spent on that item and donating it to
Skip1. It’s pretty simple. Just ‘skip it’ and 100% of the
money donated goes to feeding and bringing clean water to
children here in the US and around the world.” Thank you for
your important work with this project, Barbara. May God
richly bless your efforts. Barbara states that she has
left the entertainment industry “for good,” and has ventured
into another business that involves direct sales of bed and
bath linens through home parties. The company is called
Private Quarters. From every order she receives, a bed is
donated to a needy child. The current focus of this outreach
is upon Haiti. To learn more about this enterprise, go to
www.privatequarters.net/cameron. The company has
donated seventy-eight beds since January. Barbara writes, “I
never, ever thought I would be doing something like this,
though God certainly has His plans. Just trying to be
obedient in the way I feel He is directing me. I have had a
few witnessing opportunities so far, which I really love,
too! I also give out my books when the guests know that I
wrote the book. I think I give out more than I sell, but
that’s ok! God’s truth is getting out there and I know that
the book is doing great things in the lives of those that
read it. To God be the glory!!!”
A Full House of Growing
Pains retails at $19.99. It is a hard-cover book with a dust
jacket. (ISBN: 978-0-88270-189-9)
