Dear Friend:
As
hard as it is to believe, June is already here, and we’re
gearing up for the ICRS Convention, which will be held in
St. Louis from June 28 to June 30, 2010. We hope you will
come by our booth number 1811. It was creatively designed by
Steve Becker, our Executive VP of Marketing, and should be
easy to spot. Just look for the high-flying pterodactyls!

Meet Peggy Hildebrand
Inasmuch
as our Acquisitions Editor/Production Manager, my wife,
Peggy Hildebrand, and I
will be celebrating our fortieth wedding anniversary this
month, and she will be retiring at the beginning of August,
I thought it was appropriate to introduce Peggy to you this
month, if you do not already know her.
A graduate of CMC School of Nursing in Scranton,
Pennsylvania, and Graceland University in Iowa, Peggy has a
long and distinguished career as a registered nurse and
Nursing Home Administrator. In the last three years or so,
she has served as Acquisitions Editor/Production Manager of
Bridge-Logos. We are very grateful for her service to our
ministry and the strong relationships she has developed with
our authors and printers. Peggy and I are the parents of
five sons (two sets of twins) and the grandparents of
eighteen! Upon her retirement, she will spend much time
reading, gardening, biking, making greeting cards, and
showering love upon her appreciative family. Peggy, we
will miss you here, but I’m happy to know that I will spend
the rest of my life with you! May God bless you in every
way. Activities of Our Authors
Linda
Born, author of
My Mom Has Alzheimer’s, has prepared devotions for
Alzheimer’s/dementia patients via her website:
www.godmomandme.com.
If you go to her site, you will find a sample devotional as
well as a link that will open up others. Each devotion
includes a link to traditional hymns, so that caregivers can
quickly access music that will help to communicate God’s
love to patients.
On June 26 Linda will be featured at the Town Crier
Bookstore’s Author Extravaganza at Town Crier Bookstore, 716
Commercial Street, Emporia, Kansas.
Adam
Mersereau, author of
Uncivil Society will be my guest on “We’re
Talking Books” this Thursday, June 10, at 2:00 PM, EDT. (Go to
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/bridgelogos.)
Uncivil Society is a timely book about our
contemporary society—the government’s war against God and
the plight of the Christian citizen. In
Uncivil Society, the author, who is an active
lawyer, clearly explains why the government has the attitude
it does toward such things as abortion and gay marriage. Any
Christian concerned about so many of the government's
activities that seem to be contrary to what were once the
Christian values of this nation needs to read this book.

Cross, author of

interview with Janet Parshall on May 22, 2010. Kevin’s hour
was picked as the best of the week and was rebroadcast. It
can be heard in its entirety by going to

Wendy Alec
We
are pleased to announce that we are now distributing the
third book in Wendy Alec’s very popular Chronicles of
Brothers series—Son
of Perdition—and it is selling extremely well. These
books are published by Warboys in England, but we are happy
to be able to distribute them here in the United States
along with one other book by Wendy—Journal of the Unknown
Prophet. The other books in the Chronicles of Brothers
series are
The Fall of Lucifer and
The First Judgement. These are also published by
Warboys. Blessings and Gratitude
We thank God for the blessings He is bestowing upon
Bridge-Logos Foundation. He is always faithful to us, and I
want to conclude this newsletter by thanking Him for His
great faithfulness and mercy in our ministry and our
individual lives. Charles Dickens wrote, “Reflect upon
your present blessings, of which every man has many; not on
your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.”
May we all learn to count our blessings. Paul wrote,
“Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this
is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1
Thessalonians 5:18).
We are very thankful for you!
In Christ,
Lloyd B. Hildebrand
