Dear Friend: The first month of 2008 has been a
very exciting one, indeed. The trade shows in Hershey,
Toronto, Riverside, and Indianapolis were filled with new
contacts, interesting conversations, great fellowship, many
opportunities to learn and grow, and dynamic sales. It was
good to see so many old friends at those conventions—and
make so many new ones.
Our new facility in Alachua, Florida, is bustling with
activity as the staff of Bridge-Logos works to fulfill the
multitude of orders we've received from all over the world
for both new and old titles. Thank you for being an
important co-laborer in the end-times harvest fields, which
truly are waiting to be reaped by God's servants.
New Titles in the Warehouse
Several new titles are now available, and several more
will be available in the near future.
Interior Castle by St. Teresa of Avila arrived
Wednesday from the printers. It is a beautifully designed
and wonderfully edited new addition to the Pure Gold
Classics series; included with it is a CD of book excerpts
that are passionately narrated by one of our editors,
Beverlee Chadwick—the
CD is our first with a full musical background. This book
retails for $14.99, and it is a good companion to
Dark Night of the Soul by St. John of the Cross,
which came out last summer. St. Teresa and St. John of the
Cross were companions in the Carmelite Order of the Church,
and their goal was to return the Roman Catholic Church to
New Testament principles.
Comfort for Kids
Two new and beautifully illustrated children's books,
written by Ray Comfort, are now available as well. They are
Scratch and Sniff and
What Your Nose Shows, and both are designed for
children in the four-to-nine-year-old range. These are very
durable laminated cardboard books that teach children
important truths about God and Christian living, while they
enjoy exploring new scents and vivid scenes.
Scratch and Sniff retails for $13.99 and
What Your Nose Shows retails for 14.99.
1001 Things You Should Know Before You Die
Though the word unique is frequently overused, it is an
adjective that truly applies to this new book by Allan and
Yvonne Ansdell. It could be said that this work is a
Christian version of "The Bucket List" in that it raises
1001 vital biblical questions that demand personal responses
from the reader prior to life's final moment. This book is
inspiring, challenging, and fun, and it is selling extremely
well.
1001 Things You Should Know Before You Die is a
great gift book for people of all ages and backgrounds. It
is especially helpful for the unsaved and the new believer.
This book retails for $13.99.
Surviving the Fitness Game
The author of this practical and uplifting book is JoAnna
Ward, the well-known star of CBS's "Survivor: Amazon."
JoAnna is a fitness expert, and in this book she offers a
strategic plan of faith and fitness that will bring many
positive changes to the reader.
Surviving the Fitness Game includes a 60-minute
exercise DVD that will start the reader on the road to
wellness, fitness, and spiritual victory. Look for JoAnna on
several upcoming media events. She has already thrilled
audiences on MSNBC, CBN, and TBN.
Surviving the Fitness Game retails for $14.99.
How to Know God Exists
This is an excellent work of Christian apologetics by
well-known evangelist and author Ray Comfort. The reader of
this appealing book will explore the facts that led the
world's most notorious atheist to acknowledge the existence
of the Creator. You will be amazed to discover what many
scientists today are saying about the theory of evolution.
How to Know God Exists is a compelling evangelistic tool
that will lead readers to see the multitude of overwhelming
evidence for the existence of God, and help them to get to
know God personally. This is an attractively designed,
full-size, trade paperback that retails for only $12.99.
Be Blessed!
You are a blessing and God wants to bless you even more
than you know. The Bible says, "Now to Him who is able to do
exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in
the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and
ever. Amen." (Ephesians 3:20-21, NKJV).
Let God's power work within you today, as you continue to
serve the King of kings and Lord of lords. As our author
Harold Hill used to say, "You are a King's kid, and you need
to learn to live like one." Yes, you are a prince or a
princess in the family of God. He is your Father, and He
loves you with an everlasting love. Therefore, be blessed
today and remember that He is able to do exceeding
abundantly beyond anything you can imagine!
Many blessings to you and yours,
Lloyd B. Hildebrand
