It’s a day of rejoicing in the 3rd grade classroom at
Tecate Mission, as we celebrate the contentment of little baby
Adrian. It’s a mission accomplished, a hallelujah glory to God
for helping us find a children’s home right here in Tecate! Over
the past 6 months I have carried a burden for this precious
little guy. My heart was very discouraged, loosing hope, afraid
of more rejection. Afraid I was hurting my students as they
joined me on weekend treks to knock on children’s homes doors,
only to hear, “sorry, no room in the inn.”
Our Abba is awesome, when I
went to get some eye glasses I met a family from Bow Island,
Alberta, who had just arrived in Mexico one week before to work
in a Children’s Home here in Tecate. Not only did I find a home
for baby Adrian, but I also have some new Canadian friends, Abe
and Margaret Heinrich and their 7 children.
My
students and I are enjoying the mild spring weather; we’re
reading Pilgrim’s Progress outside under a tree. The Evidence
Club is going strong; the LORD has provided an awesome supply of
Spanish Gospel tracts (free!), not the Million Dollar Bills, but
they do use the 10C’s. Our Tecate Youth Center has been a real
blessing to use as a launching pad for this out reach. Our
preparations for our out reach to San Felipe are on target, as
my students rehearse their songs and work on their skits.
The Lord is blessing me with a
visit from 2 elders and their wives from my home Church.
I look forward to sharing with
them these treasures of my heart.
Thank you for your prayers and
partnership. You are sowing into the lives of children for the
glory of God. May HE find us all faithful~
